In order to register an entry, Link must take a picture of the subject with the Camera Rune. The Hyrule Compendium compiles pictures and information of every Creature, Enemy, Material, Weapon, Shield, Bow, and treasure. The Guidance Stone takes note of the Sheikah Slate's missing files and initiates a repair. After this has been completed, Purah will remove the lock on the Guidance Stone and allow Link to use it. Purah is able to restore the Hyrule Compendium and other functions, but only once the furnace outside the lab has been lit with the Blue Flame from the Ancient Furnace.
